Olivia Christensen is the founder and artist behind klæde.
Olivia studied visual communications and design in San Francisco, and there, alongside her husband, established klæde as a way to express her love for timeless fashion and color.
Inspired by the colorful streets of San Francisco, Olivia paints each kerchief design by hand. She designs and creates her prints with watercolor and acylic paints, which are scanned and printed on a custom fabric blend.
Olivia currently designs and runs klæde from her home studio in Seattle, Washington.
The Danish word klæde means cloth. Klæde's custom cloth (a silk/cotton blend) perfectly combines the soft, smooth textures of silk with the long-lasting, breathable fibers of cotton.
